Bottles?

This is for any of you moms that look at my blog. I'm still nursing, but trying to get Jordan used to taking a bottle or two of pumped milk a day. He's been picky with bottles and I'm wondering what you guys like. I'd appreciate any feedback you have...thanks!

Jess~We used Avent bottles when we needed to. Reyna seemed to really like them. I have also heard Dr. Brown's bottles are good too. I never wanted the hassle of the drop in's. YOu know...the plastic lining that you have to buy. You might want to e-mail Nicole...I know she has done a lot of research into bottles.

Hey Jess, I am just a blog lurker, but I have met you in the past through Katie Mullins, I just thought I would mention that I used Adiri when I had a really hard time weaning my son. I had tried EVERYTHING and just couldn't find anything to work for him. I got the name of these from my friend who is a lactation consultant and he took them with NO problem at all. I did have to order them online, but once I got him used to taking a bottle he used the soothie brand after that. I found those at Target. Best of luck! You can check out the adiri bottles online at: www.adiri.com/

We are having the same problem. Simon has decided not to take bottles. We haven't done too many or tried too hard yet. He was doing Dr. Browns. I really wanted him to do Born Free, but Erik said it was a disaster. If you're worried about BPA in the plastic, there is all sort of info online. A lot of people seem to use the Medela bottles that come with your pump, Playtex, or Gerber (some are BPA free, so do your research). I've heard it's not too early to start them getting used to cups. Good luck!

Found your blog through Leslie. I also had this problem when I tried using a bottle. They love the boob! We used Avent and honestly the best advice is to just keep trying. Persistence is what worked for us.
